Usage characteristics
●Overhead insulated cables with rated voltage of 1kV and below
The long-term allowable working temperature of cable conductors: PVC and polyethylene insulation should not exceed 70 ℃ Cross linked polyethylene insulation should not exceed 90 ℃. The laying temperature of the cable shall not be lower than -20 ℃. The allowable bending radius of cables: for cables with an outer diameter (D) less than 25mm, it should not be less than 4D; for cables with an outer diameter (D) of 25mm or more, it should not be less than 6D.
●Rated voltage 10kV overhead insulated cable
The maximum allowable working temperature for cable conductors (for cables with load-bearing structures) is 90 ℃ for cross-linked polyethylene insulation High density polyethylene insulation at 75 ℃. During a short circuit (with a maximum duration of no more than 5 seconds), the maximum temperature of the cable should not exceed 250 ℃ for cross-linked polyethylene insulation; High density polyethylene insulation at 150 ℃. The temperature for cable laying should not be lower than -20 ℃. The allowable bending radius of the cable shall not be less than the diameter of the cylinder used in the cable bending test.
●Rated voltage 1kV steel core aluminum stranded wire core overhead insulated cable
